Martin Nessi is a Producer, Mixer/Engineer based in Los Angeles, CA. He was born in Santiago, Chile. He holds dual Bachelor of Music degrees from Berklee College of Music where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, received the Berklee Achievement Scholarship, the World Scholarship Tour and the McDSP Scholarship.

In his career he has mixed and/or engineered for Anglo and Latin artists like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Ariana Grande, Ricky Martin, Celine Dion, Gloria Trevi, Anahi, Jorge Drexler, Alex Campos, Joss Stone, Natalia Jimenez, Judith Hill, Wisin y Yandel, Audra McDonald, Nicole Scherzinger, Chiquis Rivera and Julio Reyes, just to name a select few, and has also worked with recognized producers, songwriters and engineers like David Foster, Humberto Gatica, Desmond Child, and Tony Maserati, just to name a few.

Martin was the recording engineer for Alex Campos, Lenguaje de Amor, which won the 2011 Latin Grammy Award Best Christian Album, as well as also working on Ricky Martin’s-Musica, Alma y Sexo, and Ricky Martin’s – Lo Mejor De Mi Vida Eres Tu, which was nominated for the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards Record of the Year.

Martin Nessi has relationships with companies like Izotope, McDSP and Antelope Audio, among others. Martin is also a regular contributor to Musico Pro Magazine, where he has written 40+ educational articles and reviews.

Earlier this year Martin’s work has been at the top of the Latin Billboard with Gloria Trevi’s album “El Amor” as well as getting a #2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with Josh Groban’s “Stages,” that also garnered various #1’s in many countries across the world. His latest work with Andrea Bocelli “Cinema” has also garnered various #1 spots in the classical charts, including Billboard, as well as the #2 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums and #10 in the Billboard 200. Martin mixed and engineered on these albums, and additionally mixed and engineered on Groban’s and Bocelli’s PBS Specials for the same albums. At the end of the year he also topped the charts in various countries with Gloria Trevi’s “Las Pequeñas Cosas” and Anahi’s “Boomcha.”

To top an amazing year, Martin Nessi work was nominated for the 2016 Grammy’s with Josh Groban’s “Stages” album in the Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album category.

Martin is currently working with multi-Grammy winning producer ‘Humberto Gatica’ at his ‘Lionshare Studio’ in Los Angeles, working, among many projects, on Celine Dion’s new french album to be released later this year.
